Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Good morning everyone!  Lately, I have been experimenting with the "new" (to me) technique - Art/Mixed Media.  It is so much fun to do this on cards!  What is this?  Well, to me it's "freedom stamping" -- get together any mixture of stamping images, and don't forget a few words, or sentiments.  On my sample, I started with a water spritz background. (stamp inks on your acrylic pad careful not to overlap colors too much) - spritz with water, and stamp your cardstock.  Now comes the fun part - just start stamping!  Any images, and you can even use embossing powder on some of them -- what ever you are in the mood for.  If you want, the final stage you can even run it through an embossing folder!  Feel free to make a tag, a bookmark, a card or even an art journal page!!  Whatever strikes your fancy and/or mood! :)

I made a card using most of my stamps and images from Basket Buddies, along with the "main" sentiment from Follow Your Dreams.  I also added a little texture to liven things up.  I opted not to emboss my main image, but in hindsight, I should have.  I think I would of liked it even more.

Please use keyword STVMONVD3. You can see all the entries  here.  You have until September 18th, 8:00pm to upload your entry.

[Please create and upload a new project for this challenge that can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize, no combining of Stamp TV challenges.  However, you can combine it with challenges outside of StampTV.  And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do, your name will go into the drawing twice!]

I hope you try this fun way of stamping - I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Thanks for playing~

Vicki, thanks for the inspiration. I really must try this one. a real challenge.

Hopefully, this will qualify for an Art Media card. I used ink pads, markers, dry embossing and paints. Here is my card:

Thanks Vicki for a real challenge!! :) Your card is lovely! Here´s mine;

I hope this fits the challenge.  Wasn't completely sure of the style, but it did prompt me to try a new technique!
