Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hey ya'll!!  TGIF!!   And it's time for another installment of our CASE the DT Challenges!!  I so love doing these!  I work on an awesome, oh so talented DT, and they inspire me all the time!  So I thoroughly enjoy looking through their gallery and picking out a card to CASE...which is HARD!!

This is how this works...I will give you one of the DT's names, along with a link to their gallery here on StampTV and you can choose ANY card of theirs to CASE.  Just tell us which card, either by giving us the title of the card you CASEd or the link to the actual card of the DT member we are doing that week.  There are a few simple rules to this and they are:

1.  You need to change 2 or more things on the card.  Colors, image used, add more bling, take away bling, etc....

2.  You will need to provide the title of the card or a link to the card that you CASEd.

3.   Have fun!!  :D

For today, and next in line is the oh so talented and sweet Deb Felts!!  Here is the link to Deb's gallery:

DEB FELT'S GALLERY

I just love everything Deb creates...she has an eclectic style like me I think!   And I had a hard time deciding which card to CASE, so I did two, lol!  Here is my first one:

And Deb's card I CASEd:

I basically kept the same layout that Deb did...different colors, only one daisy, some twine!  LOVE it!   I think it will brighten somebody's day!  :D

And then I did this one too:

And Deb's card:

Again, basically kept the same layout, different colors, image and I used DP.   I did a bit heavier sponging on mine I think too, and had to do the doodling around the edge of the panel under the image, that is a perfect touch to me!

And remember, you do NOT have to show the actual card of  Deb's you CASEd, just the title or a link to it!  Just remember, you must CASE DEB!!  Not Gina or any other DT!

Now it's your turn!  Go and browse Deb's gallery and CASE one (or more!) of her awesome creations!   Here is all the small print!

Please create and upload a new project for this challenge and it can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize. However, you can use it for challenges outside of StampTV. If you use Gina K. Designs stamps, your name will go into the drawing twice.

Be sure and have your project uploaded to our gallery here on StampTV using the tag STVFRICT6  by  8:00PM CST, Sept. 29th, Thursday night.

Here you can find all the entries for this challenge:

Thanks to all of you!  I am so honored to be CASEd!  I am very flattered that you would take the time to peruse my gallery and make a card!  And several of you made more than one!  That gave me huge smiles and nearly moved me to tears! xoxoxo  Thank you SO much!

I have not yet gotten to see all of your cards, but I will!  We were away most of the day yesterday since my son participated in a special weekend of chorus across town at UNF. A combined choir consisting of students from many of the high school chorus classes in our area practiced in four long sessions to learn some difficult music and then sang in concert before their parents and friends.  It was amazing!  We are so proud of him (and his friends!), especially since he is a homeschooler participating in honors chorus as an elective.  Wooohoooo, go Matthew!  :)

Another great challenge, Cat. CASEing the DT really gives me a chance to see all the wonderful cards that I probably missed.  I chose to CASE Deb's "Happy Day" gatefold card.  To me a simply beautiful card with wonderful colors.  I did change the color scheme and patterned paper as well as removed the ribbon  and switched the "bling" around with the liquid pearls.  Thanks Deb for much inspiration and also to Cat for another fun fun challenge.

Here's my card

and this is the one from Deb's gallery that I cased:  Happy Day!

Thanks for looking.

Here is a card I CASED called Color Dare!  (I can't get the link to post--its from March 18, 2009)

Here is my card...it is an invitation for a hymn sing (this is my daughter who is a harpist)

Here is my card and I CASED this card of Debs!!!!

Thank you Cat for hosting this fun challenge.  I just up-loaded 4 cards for this.  I have a question for you, what actually does "CASE" mean, I understand that you are using another persons card for inspiration but wondered what or if CASE meant anything specific.
I've always heard that CASE means Copy And Share Everything, although traditionally the card is not copied "outright" and the CASEr makes subtle changes to make it his or her own, also crediting the original card maker!  Being inspired by and learning from each other are some of the things that are so great about the stamping community.  xoxoxo
I LOVE the case-ing challenges, Cat! But, I DO agree with you that they're hard to do! I'm free today, so I will try to work on it.
Thank you Deb, I knew those letters meant something!  Still new at this.
