In this video, I'm sharing a fun watercolor resist technique with a twist. It's a bit messy, but BIG on LOVE and turns your mini card into art that fits right on an easel.
Since I create a lot of mini easel art, I thought it would be fun to give a papercrafting version a go! I've shared sample ideas of this project before; however, in this video, I really jacked up the colors and there's a SILVER lining. I also share details about the digital die cut files that are a companion to the You Are set and are FREE to you on my website. You can fussy cut with them too!
Easel shown in the video was purchased at my local Michael's Craft Store and came with a black canvas too. Bonus! It is their Artist Loft Brand.
My craft mat: I get a lot of questions about the craft mat I use in my videos. It is a piece of poster board from WR Memory Keepers. They call is Designer Poster Board: Wood White. Manufactured by American Crafts. I had the poster board heavy duty laminated at my local Staples. GREAT for photos, video, craft mat usage. It wipes right off and is heat resistant.

Absolutely gorgeous card, love the ink techniques, and that easel is so darn cute.
Wonderful tutorial, Lisa! Love the finished product. Thank you for sharing. I feel inspired to try this method now.
Your videos and tutorial are so much fun and I'm amazed at how you are smooching in colors and designs.
Beautiful project Lisa! I love the background, the way you add the soft colors and just smooched the ink in. :) Thanks for sharing & Inspiring! <3
