Barbara, there is a big difference with waxed paper brands.  I bought cheap dollar store waxed paper a while ago and it was hardly waxed and only on one side of the paper it worked great for what I used it for at the time (sewing) I am sure it would not be enough wax for this technique. Then there is a deli DRY wax paper that really wont work because it's not made with the right kind of wax. The brand that Gina showed is one that for sure will work - it's the old-fashioned Cut-Rite brand that was taken over by Reynolds and can be found in most U.S. supermarkets for cheap. I'm not saying that only this brand works -- Just that I know for certain that this brand will work.

LOVE the new video!  Interesting technique that just screams "try me".  Those of us that have been making cards for some time are always looking for something new and different.
Thanks so much!

The secret must be really good wax paper. I tried this with cheap wax paper and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

So much spring with wax paper! Love the square focal, and the butterfly is perfect.

What a super technique that I will be trying soon!  Your card is beautiful and I like how you showed different folders and colors.  Wonderful video!

Love the card and the technique.  So often using the embossing folder makes it difficult to adhere something to it that this would be a flatter surface.  Thanks, love the colors you chose.  Always so excited when watching your videos.
