*Note: For safety reasons, this technique is not recommended for thin candles- only thick pillar style candles that burn down through the center. You should never leave a candle burning unattended.

4" Pillar Candle
Tissue Paper- measured at 3.75" X 10.25" (You can trim a bit off of it's too long for your candle)
Ranger superfine gold embossing powder
Marvy Extra Jumbo Snowflake Punch
GKD Pure Luxury Good as Gold Card Stock
Wilton Clear bags- (These will be arriving in our store within the next couple of days.)

Yes, it would work that way too. You don't have to emboss. It's just something extra you can do if you want to.

forgot....using this new vimeo is a PITA. sometimes it will work most times just a black screen & then it says no voice and that I should sign up

there is a shiny side and dull side to tissue, what side did you use?

I have also seen the method where they stamp on the tissue and then cover the candle with wax paper & then use the heat gun...

If I stamp my image on the tissue would it work..meaning I wouldn't be embossing..just stamping

Vimeo is a higher quality video server. It may take longer to load, however, all of our videos are still at Youtube on our Youtube channel so you can still see them in the same quality as previously viewed here at StampTV.

I also have the same problem, just a black screen. Not happy about that.

Ever since you started on vimeo I have not been able to see any of the
video...I'm not too pleased not able to see any of them...
All I get is a black screen...

Great tutorial! I tried this technique many years ago but am looking forward to trying it again for Christmas this year or even Thanksgiving.
