I tried this with adirondack alcohol ink... and it didn't turn out so well.  Are these inks suitable or should I be using just the water based kind?

WOW, I wasn't expecting that when you scraped the cream off, it left a more defined design then with it on and it surprized me. I love it! Ohhhhh hubby, can I borrow your saving cream?..... This is going to be fun, here I go! Louella

Outrageous!!! What a fantastic technique. It just so happens I have the same squeegee and I can't wait to try this. I came across your website in a cardmaking magazine I had bought last Friday. Since I logged on the first time, I have been hooked. There are so many videos to watch and watch again. I have not gone through them all but I will. I have learned so much from you and you make it so pleasureable to watch. You speak at the perfect speed and very clearly. I just am not sure if you have a new video every Wednesday but I will check tomorrow to and hope for the best. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning. Keep up the good work and keep those ideas coming. By the way, my birthday is next week and my daughter asked me what did I want. I had no idea last week, but told her tonight I want a GinaK gift certificate. Can't wait to purchase your products. Bravo Gina to you and your creative staff.

I have a couple of Pampered Chef tools that made it into the scrapbook/stamp room, but I don't have this 'squeege' yet - I've tried this before & end up just scraping w/a ruler - will have to see if I can find a squeege like that at the kitchen store. Thanks for another great tutorial.
