Shake, Tap, Drop! Sponged Gold Technique

Today Melanie Muenchinger is demonstrating a simple design that pops with all the Stately Flowers! Grab your embossing powder for this fun “sponged gold” technique using your daubers!  You’ll look at your powders in a whole new way after this for adding artistic, one of a kind elements to your cards!  Today she uses the Mock Orange from Stately Flowers 11 and explains her inspiration piece. Inspiration is everywhere!

Hi Melanie.  I love the card you did in the video with the lightly sprinkled corners.  The gold on the blue lagoon is so elegant!  It's so much fun to watch your creations emerge.  Thank you for sharing.

Very pretty cards. Love them both

I love the Blue Lagoon one and the design that uses less sponging with the gold powder. I used to do this years ago and so forgot about it. Back then I was really into embossing more then I am now.

I love the look of The turquoise and gold so they are my favorite.

Thanks for the Versamark both the cards.  I like the Blue Lagoon color with the gold better, and like the layout of the pink card....with the diagonal sentiment.

I like the teal -- and I never thought of doing gold on teal, but it looks great...
