I love this.. With two granddaughters, I can visualize it done in very feminine colors and textures, too!

Ignore my comment, seems as if it was asked but I had not read down far enough. Thanks.

Do you have to worry that the magnet will erase the digital coding of the gift card?

What a great idea using the Scor-tape over the magnets!

Gina thank you for your timely reply. I had never seen those magnets before and now I am going to have to get some. I have used velcro dots for closures on different projects, but I like the idea of the magnet much more. It is just classier than listening to that rrrrrip of the velcro.

As usually, your videos are great! My only concern was the magnatic snaps are near the gift card magnetic strip. Won't that ruin the gift card? If someone knows anything about this I would appreciate some info, I love the card holder and how it looks, especially if the gift card is for a man. And my husband's birthday is Valentine's day and I would love to make this for him! Thanks again for the great ideas. Ciao, db:)

Glenda,
I have heard that too yet I've been making these forever and have never had a problem. And, thank goodness, there is a number on the back of every gift card in case the magnetic strip gets damaged, scratched or is unreadable that they can key in and it can still be used.

I have never had a problem, though. This is a pretty mild magnet.
Hugs,
Gina K.
