Lacquerware Inspired Hearts & Flowers Card


In this video, I shared how i made a card inspired by a Lacquerware Desk purchased by my parents in Japan. The desk has the most beautiful art with gold outlines and vibrant coloring.

Measurements:
Card Base- 4 1/4" X 11", scored at 5 1/2" and folded in half
White layer with gold embossed edge- 3 7/8" X 5 1/8"
Black Onyx Layer- 3 3/4" X 5"

Supplies:
Stamp Set- Hearts & Flowers StampTV Kit
Card Stock- Wild Wisteria, Blue Lagoon, White Layering, Black Ony
Ink- VersaMark
Prismacolor Pencils, Embossing Magic Pad, GKD Fine detail embossing powder, Heat Tool, Adhesive, Scor-buddy

I love these! Embossing is my favorite technique. I'd probably try to put some crystal effects on top of the coloring. Make it look even more lacquered. Cheers!

Gina, this is so beautiful. I like the wisteria one best but the blue one is pretty too. I always love your videos.
