How to : Black Embossed Magic Technique

Today Melanie Muenchinger shares a twist on Black Magic that uses your embossing powder and markers instead of pigment ink and pencils!  This technique produces vibrant or soft color depending on the shades you choose, and creates a very similar look to Black Magic, but goes super fast with no worry of going outside the lines or making a stray mark, as your alcohol marker ink  just disappears into the black background. Magic, indeed!  Please enjoy!

Good Morning, Melanie!  I tried this last night and it came out okay.  I think I might have to try stamping in Versamark and then heat embossing.  Some of the pigment ink dried too quickly and it looked a bit splotchy.  I ended up trimming the card down to a 4x4 square card.  I think it was the stamping on my part that went wrong! I shall try this again today.  I just love this card and I want to get it right!
