Faux Paper Piecing with Inspiration Mosaic

Look at all these gorgeous patterned papers! Oh, wait, it’s just one! Today, Melanie shows you how to use markers to add color to the stamped blocks in her bestselling Inspiration Mosaic frame to turn one beautiful pattern into several on one project. Skip the fussy cutting and layering with this faux paper piecing technique, which works fabulously with all of Melanie’s other line art frame sets.  The StampTV Kit Flowers and Frames adds a perfect coordinating embellishment for the matching patterned paper.

I used this stamp but another one of the floral papers that had white as base. I also used the Spectrum Noir

markers but different colors. My problem is that my paper was streaky and my background didn't show thru very good. What other pattern papers can you suggest. I love this Mosaic look. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion, Cynthia, that is a possibilty, but because of the size of the sheet, there would only be enough room for frame in that size, and none for coordinating images or sentiments. We'll see!

It is there, Bev, but out of stock, will be back soon! Gina will send out a broadcast to all members when sets are back in stock. :)

I made this, it was easy and fun to make.  Love this paper!  I would like to see some frames to go with the larger cards (6 1/2 x 5 cards).  My step-mother and I make that size cards more than the little ones.  Thank you for all the wonderful ideas and products.

I have the Mosaic Stamp set but I have to confess I haven't used it that much. I got the MISTI so I would start using my background stamps much more. This video really makes me want to get with it. Great card!

I have your mosiac stamp and it makes beautiful cards - I appreciate how you used the Gina K Designs kit - merging the best of both - have been hoping for that approach - thank you
