Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

In today’s video, Melanie shows you a simple layout to show off the flowers in her Stately Flowers series along with their names in my Fabulous Frame. This layout works with other images, too. She also masks the cascading floral background an image from Stately Flowers 4 and colored the rhododendron with alcohol markers. Please enjoy!

Important: Although she used the rubber version in the video, THIS SET IS NOW SOLD AS A CLEAR PHOTOPOLYMER SET! J Purchase Stately Flowers 4 here:

I was going through videos tonight to get some new ideas.  Came across this one, and I just love it!

Where can we get a block large enough to hold the frame

Totally love this card.  One of my favorite colors, as well!

Hi Kathy, I prefer closer, too, for coloring but I got so much feedback from viewers they wanted me to zoom out to see more of the supplies and other things I was doing when creating the card. I can't zoom in and out while filming, but will try to find a happier medium. For coloring only, I will for sure do a tighter shot. Thank you for your feedback!

LOL on the fan and mower!  Yep, my craft room is at the front of the house.  No fancy sound stage here.  Thanks for keeping it real with me! :)

Hi Melanie! Lovely card! Of course, because you used my favorite colors. :-) I have a bunch of your state flower sets, I too like having the names of the flowers, so I'm glad you included them. I also have your fabulous frame set, yay.
Watching the video was educational and, for me, very soothing. I'm sort of in a rough patch, so I need soothing. Watching you color and hearing a lawn mower(?) and a fan(?) in the background made it feel like a typical summer day.
Once I get back into my studio I'm definitely going to try to make a card similar to yours. Thanks!
