I used this method to make my brother a Birthday card...instead of newsprint I used a page pulled from and old "Robinson Crusoe" book that i got at a garage sale...

Altho I totally love the newspaper idea, wonder if how it would work with maps. I did some motorcycle cards for the guys, printed off google maps of the area they represented as backing for my focal point. Think they would be great destressed as well.

I love this card, as I always do. My question is this. I am the worlds worst when it comes to getting unwanted ink on my projects and I couldn't help but notice that when you were distressing, your white card seemed to be laying right over the paper you were using for work area. How did the ink not get on your white card?

You did it yet again, Gina! Oh how I wish I could center my layers as well as you. Thank you for sharing another great idea.

amazing idea! I will try it soon! I'm from Malta and the craft shops in Malta don't sell these inks. How can I get them? Thanks!

I bought an old book or two and pull the falling pages out!
I think they were twenty five cents each. :)
I adore the Distress Inks from Tim Holtz
