I always carry notebooks with me. I use them for all of the things you mentioned. I love them for taking to birthday parties and Christmas parties to keep track of what goes on (and who needs thank you notes!). I always start with the name of the event at the top of my page, then add the time we leave the house, the temperature and other weather conditions. On trips, I'll keep track of wildlife and birds that we see. I absolutely love today's journal! The colors are so very nice. But I'm really hard on things, so I'm goign to make these in one layer and have them look more like the back cover. Neat idea about the ribbon on the pen. Makes it easier to find when digging through a purse or bag. :) Thanks!
