Thank you Gina!!  I have wanted to buy copic markers, but there is no place close by.  I have seen these Bics on other websites but I had not seen anyone use them.  I love your cards and I can't wait to go and buy them and play.  I always enjoy your videos and I learn so much.

So happy to see some of my favorite markers featured.  When I bought them about 3 years ago I did so because their bright happy colors made my heart sing.  I love coloring with them.  It never crossed my mind to try a blending pen with them!  How fun!  Thanks Gina!

Thanks so much for this idea.  I've been wanting to work with Copic markers but didn't want to make the significant investment.  I'm not an artist, so I'm not concerned about the small loss in quality. I went immediately to my Walmart and bought these markers, and I shared the idea with my friends on the DIY discussion board.  Thanks for all your inspiring videos, Gina.

Will this technique work with "Sharpee" markers as well?

I just bought these markers.  Thanks for showing me how to make better use of them. I will be picking up a Copic blender pen or two.  I love all of your ideas...You ROCK Gina =)

Hi Gina:

Just wanted to thank you for telling us about the Bic Mark-It permanent markers.  I went to Wal-mark yesterday and purchased a set, and then came home and made two different flowers.  I used my old pens, and the new Bic-mark it, what a difference and made my flower just seem so real.  I really enjoy every project you show, and keep going back to re visit some of my favorites.  Thank you for all your hard work, makes me have new ideas all the time.

Thanks for the new technique!  I have started buying Copic markers one at a time due to the expense, so this allows me to still make some projejects that still look great and I can work on my blending technique as well!

Filomena,

I used our Ivory card stock. It's great for this technique!

woohoo - got my copic sketch colorless blender today @ Michaels - $6.99, but with a 50% off coupon it was only $3.50 - it's not typical that what I want at Michael's isn't already on sale, so for once I was able to take advantage of their coupon.  Played around with it already tonite - just love it - thanks Gina for the awesome tips!!
