We have been friends for a while and I just noticed you are from Childress. I was born in Amarillo and once when I was small live in Vernon. Part of high school I lived in Happy. I am a Texas forever. Live in Paris Texas now. Do you do your shopping and card classes in Amarillo?

Hello, Melissa. Donna just posted a link on the pop-up snowman style card tutorial I recently made. I don't think its the tutorial I saw. But, the technique is exactly the same. Here is the link if you want to 'study' it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7uDfqtADA&feature=related. Good luck! xox

Hi, Melissa. Thanks for liking my pop-up snowman! That's a fun card to do! I don't have a blog. I've written to Gina, asking her if I could do a write-up tutorial on here. I tried looking for a tutorial section, but, I only saw the ones done by Gina. Don't see any from other members. So, will see what she says. For the life of me, I cannot remember where I saw the tutorial for my pop-up snowman card. That's why I thought of doing a tut on that here if I can?

Aha! So THAT's your secret! Copic markers! I don't have any gold spray. But, I have a gold gel pen. What I really wanted to get are those very fine glittery glassy thingy. What do you call them? Diamond something. Have you ever use it before?

Thank you Melissa, I'm glad you liked it.  The technique came from this site.  Wood graining and I thought it fit the barn perfectly.  (i had a new scor-buddy I wanted to try out too)  :)

Hi, I read your profile. I am a Christian, also. I have recently retired. Stamping has been an outlet for me and a source of peace and creativity. I live in Paris Tx. Saw your cards, you are really talented.
