Hi Retta, Thanks so much for your lovely comment on my Rainbow Butterfly card. The Not Forgotten set was released about 2009. I found it on the clearance rack when we were at the Christmas in the Village event. It is so perfect for so many occasions I wish Gina would bring it back. Sympathy cards are so hard to make but this set is perfect for sympathy or for thinking of your cards after a death.
Thank you for the comment! I do not usually make one card that satisfies more than one challenge, so this was unexpected that I could use a sketch from one site and work in a challenge for two other sites. I read blogs and the challenge list is long that someone is able to enter. This is a rarity for me. I appreciate your comment very much!
Thanks Retta - I find it interesting to look at everyone else's cards because I get ideas for stamps that I have but haven't really used much. This weeks challenge was a challenge as I simply couldn't think of what to do. Then I saw another creation in the galleries and I thought oh yes I can try it with this stamp.
Retta thanks for your lovely comment on my gingham Valentine. I don't think I'd ever used that cute bird stamp. Then it hit me I could not only use it to make a card for the challenge, but use it for my DH's Valentine as well. I was pleased with the way it turned out.
Thank you so much Retta, for the encouraging comments. The mouse on the cheese came from a set that had to be cut apart. Gina found a box of stamps in her warehouse, probably three or four years ago so they went on sale very inexpensively for those kind of stamps. I love animal stamps, so this one caught my eye. It has a giraffe looking out of a window, an elephant on a ball, a turtle on a skateboard, and this mouse. There are many sentiments to go with the animals. I was struggling with transportation and then this idea came together. That is always fun.
