Hi Deb

Just had to tell you that your "driving Home ' card is just gorgeous.  I love it.  In fact your photo gallery is just wonderful.  You have some beautiful cards.  I really enjoyed looking at it.

Thanks Deb. Hopefully the lake goes down soon, the lake overflowed onto the deck and into the backyard. A lot of our plants were down and several pots broke. Nothing that can't be repaired or replaced. Thanks!!

When you have a minute and it does sound as though you are busy now.  I can tell you that if you are interested in on-line classes:  go to KWerner site.  She has several classes already done but up for sign ups because the whole process is go at your own pace.  Videos and turtorials all the way and many many sites for a quick look at some other talented people's work.  The only thing you miss out on is no store discounts, no forum, and no gallery to post your cards.  Those are closed.  First class I took was Clean and Simple Cards, then the Tim Holtz, Creative Chemistry 101, which was the who, what, where, and why of everything...inks, perfect pearls, alcohol inks, crackle paint, painting with re-inkers, etc.  Even cardstock.  OMG, can you imagine, me, and ex-RN...I was in heaven.  Learned soooo much.  Now I'm taking the class "A Cut Above", all about die-cut machines and how to really get the best bang for your buck from your dies.  Kristina Werner, Jennifer Mcguire, and others.  Some of the best of the biz, so to speak.  Fab.  haven't really started that class.  But, I have lots of time to do it, its like lifetime access to all of them.  I just don't want to miss out on student discounts at SSS, EH, and others.  lol  Good luck with prom and etc.  Long time ago for me.  HUGS, Anna

thanks for the friend invite, I accepted.  Yes, I will be having a wonderful weekend.  My two grandsons are coming over.  The oldest (10) is a gardener whiz and his knowledge of bug is amazing....guess all the times I sat him in my lap and looked up bugs on the computer helped.  Also, when I was getting sick, he totally re-potted many of my plants, after I showed him how.  Now, the younger (8) is an artist.  Always drawing, painting, and now into card-making.  I allow him to do it all.  No worries about clean-ups, if you know what I mean.  He's painting on canvas and sent it to my Aunt, who requested it, after seeing his work.  I hope he got it from me. teehee.  So, gotta go and make ready.  We are going to have an adventure, together, which is what we call our visits.  And, they help me, bcuz, i'm not agile anymore. sniff. but touching.

Too funny.  Cuz, I also a life long crafter...not from my Mom, though, just me.  I did it all as well, Tole painting, macrame, papercrafting, sewing, crocheting, some knitting, then I got to one of Red Hats card-making events.  That was all she wrote.  Smitten, in love, gaga, you name it. I pretty much figured I'd work till I dropped because I absolutely LOVED my job:  NICU RN.  BUT, life threw me a curve ball and I got RA, Migraines, Fibromyalgia....pretty much a laundry list.  If the disease doesn't get ya, the meds will, but that's another story.  So, home, disabled, and NOT happy...miss my job sooooo much.  Was so involved in any of the Education teams. Taught newbie RN's, mentored students, took on Externs.  Taught NRP.  Resuscitation of newborns, means everyone, premies all the way up.  Well, that's behind me.  Cried like a baby for a while.  But I'm an up type person, and the crying stopped and move on.  I always reserve the right to feel my feelings for say, a week, then move on.  Never want to be an angry person, not my style.  So, here I am: first time joining up, after watching for months, took several on-line classes.  Great for me, cuz, so dang undependable but with these classes can take forever to finish.  Learned a lot.  I'm a who, what, where, and why person...lol  Class with Tim Holtz was great.  Tons of info. glad I took it.  Have lifetime access, which is how that works.  teehee. Very nice to meet you and chat.  You are very talented.  I have already hooked up with Vicki Dutcher, also, so very talented.  She's been helping and supportive through my computer trials and also in getting cards posted.  Was scary to do that  The whole place see's my cards, am I worthy, they look childish, silly, un-skilled.  Bless her, she pushed and motivated me to just do it. :)  HUGS, Later....

Hi Deb,

I told you I was new to stamptv and also NOT so computer savvy, sorry to say.  I just reaized that the DT stands for Design Team, duh.  No wonder, because girlfriend, you are so talented.  Did you have any art studies, or painting in your background, or "other life"?  I would be so grateful if you would consider being my friend.  Sorry, but I don't know the computer process of it...LOL  Pitiful, I know. So, if you could do that part, and I will learn how as I go.   Bear with,  I will learn this.  I would like to invite you to my little gallery of cards (just posted my first few cards EVER) It won't take much time because there are less than ten.  LOL

Deb, thank you for your kind comments on my Autumn Blessings cards.  Your card gallery is so lovely and with so many creative ideas, it was not hard to chose cards to CASE.  I actually won that challenge and have been enjoying my new stamp set "Celebrate the Season", so thank you for inspiring me to do this challenge.
