Hi Paris, Thanks for adding me as friend. I'm still new to this 'board thing' but I keep up with all Gina K tutorials. Stamp TV is a blessing for me, keeps my creative juices flowing. After working for over 35 years, I retired in August and have had some health issues (but with much improvement now) However last week I fell in the very first snow we got and broke my arm...Is this the way retirement is suppose to go??? I think not! LOL So now can only look crafting ideas for a few weeks. I'm hoping for a much better New Year. :) Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the friend request, I am new to this site. I am a full time night worker in Tucson, Arizona and have been scrapbooking and doing card making for about 3 years now. I have only one daughter and now a grandson who is 8 months old, so I have plenty picts. to scrap. I am married to a wonderful man, who also works nights. Scrapping and my card club is my hobbie and stress release. Thanks for the request again, and may you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Scrappin New Year.

Hi, Paris. Thanks for your friendly overture. I'm not very skilled in all these message boards, so it may take me a while to figure out how it all works. But it's nice to be welcomed by a new friend.

I'm a retired public library director with an absolutely great husband, four wonderful kids (three of whom are married) and one darling grandson who will be joined by a baby sister or brother in April. I love books (of course), cats, making cards, and ballroom dancing. My daughter, Bridget, was married in October of 2007. She and her then fiance started taking dance lessons prior to their wedding and suggested that her dad and I take a few lessons. Two and a half years later, we're still at it. My husband, Pete, dances for pizza--we got for beer and pizza after each lesson that he takes. I have been seriously bitten by the bug, and have started dancing competitively. In October, I went to Orlando, FL and danced in a national competition. I did pretty well for a beginner. I got to dance with my instructor--a darling Russian kid who has become like my third son.

Anyway, let me know a little about you and what makes the sun shine in our day. Thanks again for the welcoming invitation.

Regards,
Kate Lorenz (aka cricutkate)
