Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

One of my favorite things is waking up to a fresh pot of coffee brewing. The aroma helps me get out from under the covers and start my day. I was so excited to see the cup of coffee stamp in the new Signs of Autumn Stamp TV kit :) And... one of the thank you quotes in Thanks a Million! is the perfect companion!

I created this card for two of the challenges here at Stamp TV; Lee's color challenge to use red, brown, and cream and Gina's technique challenge to ink a Cuttlebug folder. I started out by inking my Thank You Cuttlebug folder with SU! - Close to Cocoa ink. I then ran it through the Cuttlebug with a piece of Gina's Pure Luxury Vanilla CS. I added a border of SU! - Riding Hood Red. I then stamped the cup of coffee and the sentiment from the Signs of Autumn kit onto the Vanilla CS, trimmed them, and also added the same border as the background. I colored the cup of coffee with my Crayola colored pencils and then used OMS to blend. This was a quick and simple card but I really like how it turned out. I can't believe I didn't use one embellishment!

If you get a chance, try your hand at one (or both) of these challenges!

warm regards,

dee marie
