Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Gina has a challenge to create something that reflects one of our favorite summer memories.

One of my favorite memories is from when I was little, my kids will tell you that I am still little! My dad worked for a railroad and every summer they would bring out the old passenger cars that had been refurbished and treat the employees and their families with an excursion trip. We would board in our hometown and then travel to the northern end of the line, spend a little time there and then return home. When I was in high school, one of my friends and I got to "work" on the train serving beverages. Thanks Dad for the great memories.

I used Gina's tutorial for Distressed Newsprint, love the look.

I colored this train to match the colors of train we traveled on.

Stamps: Gina K Gifts from the Sea sentiment, Life is Good

ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, TH Distress Inks in Tattered Rose, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo

cs: Gina K Pure Luxury white and Black

accessories: ribbon, Prismacolor markers, sponge, black glaze pen

Thanks for looking!

Love how you've inked your elements -- and I love the "Happy Father's Day" tag.
