Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

So yesterday I went to my local scrapbooking store, and on a whim bought a 4 pk of Spellbinders (square collection).  Then I proceeded to run to Jo-Ann's & call Michaels to see if they had the C-Plate I would need to cut these out with on my cuttlebug.  I happened to get an embossing pad, and at first glance it seemed to be a good size, but the one I saw @ Jo-Ann's was quite larger.  I feel bad for having buyer's remorse, I got the set of dies for $89, it is 4 sets each with 6 in each set.  I wonder if that is a good deal, and if I should just have stuck with my cricut ways?  I hate to return them, especially to a small buisness, knowing this economy needs the boost.  I just don't know if I would use them enough, I just see Gina K, using them, and of course who wouldn't want to be like her (in an innocent way).  I know on this site you sell the C-Plate, and I could order it through the scrapbooking place as well, but I am having serious buyer's remorse here, as usual?  Any comments would be greatly accepted, and appreciated.

Thanks....

I would like to retract my statement on April of 2011, I am irrevocably addicted to spellbinders!  I busted out almost $200 in Spellbinders in the last 3 days, lol!  I have them pretty organized, and I do have some duplicates. Dedi do you have the squares, or labels I think 7? Thanks for turning me on, lol, and I am a believer!

Thank you Dedi, I really appreciate your wonderful thoughtfulness. I just thought I had to have a long set of plates, but I was thinking that around black friday (around the corner) that I would take advantage of sales! I have been wanting the copic ABS it is at my work (coupons will work for it)!

they get used in the cuttlebug just like an embossing folder..they have instructions on how to use them..you can see videos on their site too..they did videos for each machine they work with..  This is a gift..I want you to see how much fun they are....plus it was only $3.00

I am returning these items, as I do not want to invest in this equipment.  I really would love them, but I can't invest in this particular item at this time.  My Cricut can do just about anything, and I am not sure what I am able to do with it?
