Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Melanie asked me to join her Year of Leaves Blog Hop and am honored to participate! This is such a versatile stamp set, that also works well with her "Year of Flowers" set. I bet you will be inspired to combine these leaves with many of Gina's sets. Here is the one I made today to showcase Melanie's wonderful leaf designs.

I used GKD's Chocolate Kiss Pure Luxury CS, some ivory that I had on hand and ran through my CB herringbone folder, and punched with MS border punch. Leaves were stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copics. I stamped some of the leaves on ivory and some on Green Apple pure luxury. The Bless You sentiment is from Melanie's set, as well. Ribbon and button were in my stash.

For even more inspiration, please visit our Illustrator of the Year of Leaves stamp set, Melanie Muenchinger's blog. You'll want to leave a comment on her blog because she is hosting a drawing for her gorgeous stamp set there tonight!

Melanie has asked her two guest designers to join in on her blog hop too:
Selma Stevenson
Karen Knegten

Also showcasing Year of Leaves stamp set samples tonight are these GinaK Designers:
Gina Krupsky
Carolyn King
Donna Baker
Erika Martin
Jessica Fick
Kurtis Amundson
Lee Murphy
Theresa Momber

as well as our CenterStage Spotlight Designers:
Geri Utterback
Shelly Wilson
Tina Gilliland

Jessica-Thank you! The CB folder is a new one called herringbone and it is quickly becoming one of my faves.

I love all the textures, layers, coloring on your card. That herringbone folder makes a great addition to a white background.

Beautiful coloring and layering, and I love the (houndstooth?) embossing background.
