I was so excited that Melanie has chosen me to be one of her guest designers this month. I have had so much fun playing with her new set, Hip to be Square.
First up is a card for a new baby girl. I stamped her little face on the round stamped image and colored with Copics. I then made the flower by punching a piece of yellow CS (folded in half lengthwise with an oval punch, about 1/2 of the oval on the fold line. I inked up the edges and then made a pink flower, using the same method and a round punch. After I assembled I mounted on a CB'd round scallop and inked the edges.
Next up are 3 Christmas/Holiday cards.
First of these is a Christmas tree by making 5 ornaments with the solid circle and the ornament topper. Popped the whole thing onto a square scalloped nestie and onto a CB'd BG that I sponged with Olive ink.
Next is a simple snowman with a bird, standing on Flower soft snow.
Now I would like to share my Snow Lady. I had a lot of fun with this one, and especially like the boots from the "Out West" stamp set. The snow on this one is white embossing powder.
