Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Melanie's Blog Hop Sunday, Aug. 1st, 2010

I was so excited to be asked to participate in this hop showcasing Melanie's stamp set. I was Melanie's Guest Designer for her "Hip to be Square" set, when it was introduced. Melanie has given us so much versatility with this set (wait- all her sets are like this!).

I hope you enjoying seeing the card I created for this hop. I used Gina K Innocent Pink card stock for my base. I stamped the window and heat embossed with white EP. I then used the circle stamp and baby face, stamped with Vivid Tuscan Tan ink. I colored the baby's face with Copics and added a partial scalloped circle for her hat. To welcome the new baby, I used the "hello baby" sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy seeing all the creativity this hop offers.
Yay Melanie!!! The links for all the other participants are below this photo.

Tonight Melanie Muenchinger has several designing friends sharing samples they created using some of their favorite sets from Melanie, take a look!

I don't usually like a lot of embellishments, but those buttons are adorable.

Karen, this is so precious! I love those cute buttons tied with the ribbons and the stitching. So cute how you added the scalloped circle for the hat.
