Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

This past week I received Melanie Muenchinger's new book and coordinating stamp set called, A Year of Flowers.  I've only made 2 cards so far from her book but boy was I impressed with myself!  lol  I've been wanting to take my cards to the next level and I think this book will definitely assist with that.  I've used the masking technique in the 2 cards I've made and the look is so impressive.  I hope everyone will order her book because it is so beautiful.  The pictures of the cards are vibrant and includes step by step instructions so even I can make a card that looks almost (not near as) as nice as hers.  I can't wait to make more of her cards this week.  I like that I am challenged with these cards so off I go!

Happy Card Making!!

Hi Regina

I bought Melanie's book recently too - immediately read it cover to cover, and the few cards I have had time to make from it have worked beautifully.  I think she is so talented - I love her style.

Thank you so much for the information.  I'll try to find a phone number or email address since I live so far from St. Genevieve.  Your card was just beautiful and I can really appreciate it since I live here too.  Where in Missouri do you live if you don't mind me asking.  I hope you can spend more time here and we can get to know each other better. Thanks again.

Hi Regina,

I just got Melanie's book too and it's great. I don't have the stamp set yet. Thanks for your nice comment on my Missouri card with the St. Louis skyline. I tried to do a reply, but I'm still feeling my way around the site. I've been member for a while, but haven't done much here. I got the skyline stamp at InKleined to Stamp in Ste Genevieve about 5 years ago. The stamp is by Rosebud Rubber Stamps. The number is G028. InKleined to Stamp is now known as Melange since they also have a wide variety of gift items. Haven't been there for a while but they have a great variety of stamps. The Ink Spot in Kirkwood also has a skyline stamp, but it's not as detailed as the one I used. Hope this helps.
