Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

For this month's Illustrators and Design Team challenge, we were to create a card inspired by our favorite summer memories using any stamp set from the most recent release.

Here is my summer memories card:

I was inspired by my memories of my great-aunt and uncle's fancy parlor. Every summer, my parents took my brother and I to visit them at their "summer" house on the Massachusetts coast. Being young children with lots of energy, we ran all around their beautiful home and yard, but the one room where we weren't supposed to go in was the formal parlor. Naturally, we often snuck in, only to be gently scolded by our aunt. I was always drawn to the beautiful furnishings and pretty summer colors in that room. I wish I had some pictures to share with you, but they are at my Mom's house.

I created my parlor scene using Nina's Fine Furnishings and Fine Furnishings Additions. The base cardstock is GKD Pure Luxury Green Apple and the DP is from the Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane/Life's Portraits Petite Pages pack. The chaise lounge and ottoman were paper pieced and popped up. The framed "artwork" was also popped up.

This is sooo pretty. I love the soft colors and that PP in the frame is such a great idea.
