Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hello everyone! I am so happy and honored to be a part of this month's Centerstage Spotlight team. The stamp set I am previewing is illustrated by Theresa Momber and is called Life is Good. If you have enjoyed Theresa's previous stamp sets, then you will want to add this one to your collection also. It has some really beautiful images! Here is my card:

The train and side scenery images are from the Life is Good set. The mountain background image is from Therea's set Happy Camper. I stamped the images on PL base weight Ivory cardstock in black ink with some creative masking, then watercolored. The panel is layered on PL green apple and black onyx card stocks. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but there is also piercing across the top and bottom edges of the larger black layer.
Here is a close up of the layering and sentiment:

I will not be able to attend the release party over on splitcoaststampers on Thursday night :( so here is another card that I made with this wonderful set:

Isn't that such a comfy, warm looking cabin? I again stamped the image and watercolored, and added some sponging along the edges of the layers. The DP is from Basic Grey, and I also used PL Chocolate kiss for layering. The sentiment and snowflake are from the holiday cheer STV kit.

For even more ways to use these fabulous stamp sets, please check tonight's featured Illustrator's blog:
Then, visit our Designer's blogs participating in the previews tonight:

Have fun looking at all the great cards! Don't forget the release party over on SCS on Thursday 12/3/09, 7-10 pm CST
