Wow... finally come to the end of making 100 gradation dinner invites...a special one off for my granddaughter.. I dont think I would do this for a living I would be so bored.
we have had a special time this last week hosting two very nice Japanese girls.. they were only here for the weekend.. but d espite the rain we managed to find quite a lot to do... and they both chose and made a card to take home to Japan with them...our youngest GD (6) was entranced with the girls.. and soon had them chasing her along the beach during a brief spell of sunshine...we were all ready for a famous granddad special... roast beef and yorkshire puddings with all the trimmings.. now that was one of the funniest things to watch.. the girls cutting up yorkshire puddings with chopsticks and Sophie trying hard to do the same. Yes.. all in all a great weekend.
I have finally got my present from D1.. a book by Susan Tierney Cockburn on making paper flowers.. you must try and get this if you are keen to add flowers to your cards ..its just sensational.. and so much easier than it looks..
right time to go and put some shopping in the basket.. .or as my mother would say.. some bread on the loaf...
