Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Several members of the Center Stage Spotlight Team have joined together to share a special Christmas Treat Recipe Blog Hop event with everyone tonight! They have whipped up some treats in their kitchens and their stamp rooms over the past few weeks so we could compile our very first Recipe Book for StampTV!

Hi and Welcome to my first CSS Alumni Blog Hop!!

I would like to start by thanking Maria Bell for the awesome tutorial to make my cookie holder. As some of you know, I work for Starbucks, so this little holiday package is going to my boss - hence the coffee theme "My Cuppa Joe" illustrated by Rupa Shevde. I made the base of the holder with GKD Chocolate Kiss - it is such an awesome heavy weight paper that worked perfect for the sturdiness of this treat box. I used Chocolate Chip dp. The muffin and plate were colored with copics, cut out and mounted on an oval cut from Nestabilites Ovals. I paper pieced the coffee cup to match. Though it doesn't show in the photo, I tag cut (with nesties again) the saying" Friendship is like good coffee, rich warn and strong" and tied it around the top of the the treat box. I bagged up a few cookies (which are to die for BTW~ LOL) tied with ribbon and made a bow using my faux bow easy.

Again, my card is made with Chocolate Kiss card stock and chocolate chip dp. I colored the muffin and plate with copics and did the Cracked Glass effect with this. A couple of fern punches and gem, along with a similar tag of Merry Christmas tied around the card with some sponging.

Since we are all checking out recipes, I also wanted to share this Recipe Accordion File by Michelle Allen. Oh what fun this was! A couple of notes~ DO use the non security envelopes - I used the security ones so the inside blue shows (whoops) - and MAKE sure when you fold the accordion fold it is even! One fold of mine was off, so the book is a tad crooked. I am still very happy with the end result.

That's it for me. I sure hope you enjoyed treat hopping! I know I had a blast making the projects. Thanks for stopping by!

If you missed anyone here is the list of the other CSS participants:

Then, stop by GinaK's blog for a super sweet give-away she has tonight in honor of the hop!

The Recipe Book will be available as a free download PDF on StampTV tonight as well. Look for it on the Freebie Tab link.
