Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another Center Stage Alumni Blog Hop!  As I am first on the list today, you should have arrived from the StampTV forum here We have an inspiration challenge for you this time!  We were to create a card or project based on the following photo courtesy of Kay Simmons!

Thanks, Kay, for a fabulous inspiration photo!  I chose to base my card on the colors and came up with this:

Image is from Melanie's "Holiday Basket", and sentiment from Gina's "Wishing you Joy".  Card stock is GKD PL "Dark Chocolate".

Thanks for looking! Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along; because on Tuesday morning (November 13th), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs, and that person will receive a huge grab bag of Gina K Designs stamps!

Next up is super talented Brenda Turner at:

Came back to have another look.  I realized this card reminded me of something and then it struck me.  The leaves look as if they are hand embroidered. Brings back wonderful memories of my great grandmother and all the lovely hand stitching she did on doilies and pillow cases.

Betty, this is stunning!  Love how you incorporated the colors from the inspiration photo into a Christmas card.  The poinsettias are gorgeous!

Dark Chocolate is the perfect name for the yummy card stock you used for this card Betty. You certainly did a wonderful job of interpreting this challenge. Gorgeous card!
