Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another Center Stage Alumni blog hop!  As I am first on the list this time, you should have arrived from the StampTV forum here.  Today we have a color challenge for you courtesy of Kay Simmons!  Thank you, Kay!  We were to create a card or project with the following color combination: 'Tomato Soup', 'Honey Mustard', 'Dark Chocolate', and 'In the Navy' with Ivory as the neutral color.  I came up with this:

The cute little penguin is from Gina's "You Melt My Heart".  Sentiment is from one of my favourite Christmas sets "Wishing You Joy".  I found this color combo a bit challenging.  My "Honey Mustard" can be found on the penguin's beak and feet. : )  I used GKD 'Dark Chocolate' ink to stamp him on off-white card stock.  Love Gina's inks!  Card stock used include 'In the Navy', 'Tomato Soup', and 'Dark Chocolate'.

Thanks for stopping by!  Next up is the fabulously creative Cheri Weston at:

This is a challenging color combo, but you pulled it off beautifully!  Love your sweet penguin and all those stars!

I love how you pulled all of the colors together.  The addition of the embossing is the perfect touch!
