Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another CSS Alumni Blog Hop.  Since I am first on the list today, you should have arrived from the StampTV forum here.  Today's challenge is based on Gina's Color Spotlight challenge.  I decided to use my very first GKD set 'Bold Flowers'.  This is such a fun set and includes two cute background stamps - you can see one pattern peeking out on the flower petals. I went with the colors  'Red Hot', 'Sweet Corn', and 'Fresh Asparagus '.  This was a bit of a tough one for me -  here is what I came up with: 



Play along with us!  Create and upload a new project for this challenge, and you can win a free GKD stamp set valued up to $24.95.  There is even a bonus color combo you can use this time around as Gina used 'Turquoise Sea' instead of 'Fresh Asparagus' in her card and video here.  If you use GKD stamps, your project will count as two entries!   Make sure you use the tag stvcsp8.

Love the card!  The colors, the design with the flowers talking, everything about if says spring and happy!  GREAT card!!

Wonderful card...your wheels were really turning, hon!   Great job!! and the different, creative use of those scalloped circles really caught my eye!
