Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another CSS Alumni Blog Hop! You should have arrived from viewing Brenda's beautiful creation!  Today we have an inspiration challenge for you.  We were to create a card or project based on this canvas print from provided by Karen Knegten.  Thanks, Karen, for the wonderful inspiration!

Inspiration challenges are great fun as one can be inspired by the shapes, the images, the colors, the layout - so many choices!  I chose three of the main colors from the canvas and came up with:

I used the flowers from Theresa's awesome set "Little Critters".  Cardstock is GKD PL 'Chocolate Kiss', 'Sweet Corn', and 'Fresh Asparagus'.

Make sure you leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning, February 14th, we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs; and that person will receive a huge grab bag of Gina K Stamps!  I'm last on the list today.  To start at beginning or to view a list of all the alumni participating today, please go to the StampTV forum here.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Beautiful card Betty! I love the brown, green and yellow together, the faux stitching and how you laced the ribbon throught the eyelets of the circle! Great job coloring the flowers!

I love the colours on this card. I also like your idea of weaving a ribbon through the lacy Spellbinders die cut.
