Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

CSS Alumni Blog Hop (Inspiration Challenge)

Hi Everyone!

Happy Saturday and welcome to another StampTV Center Stage Alumni hop. Today's hop is based on an inspiration challenge and let me just say the ladies have some amazing projects to share with you.
We were to make a card or project based on this fun basket from 1-800 Flowers.

I was inspired by the colors and the shapes. I decided to use the super cute goldfish from Gina's
Quite a Catch stamp set.

Card base is GKD's Ocean Mist and dp is from the lime rickey paper pad. With the exception of the lips and eyes, the little fish was colored with Koh-I-Noor pencils and OMS; and highlighted with a Sakura Stardust Glitter pen.

Thanks for looking. Next up is the wonderfully creative Carolina Buchting at:

Absolutely stunning. I personally didn't like the fish stamp when I saw it, but this has definitely changed my mind. It is so cute and "hmm" cartoony. (oooh bad English LOL). Your color choices and embossed circles make this card pop.

Betty, how cute is this!?! We used to tease my son when he was little about fish having lips - "Fishlips" is so colorful and "happy"! Great job!
