Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Here is a simple rose that I made using a coffee filter. I cut 5 flowers with Spellbinder's Rose Creation die cutting set. I used two different sizes for this flower.

The three bottom layers are the same size. The top two layers are the same and slightly smaller than the bottom flowers. After cutting out the five flowers, I cut a small circle out of card stock for the base and began gluing the layers one on top of the other.

Then I coloured the tips of the flower petals with a Copic marker, but a water based marker can be used instead.

Then I spritzed the flower with Copic blender solution. If you use water based markers, then you need to spritz with water.

This will make the maker bleed into the filter paper and give it the appearance of a dried rose.

Allow the flower to dry and then simply add a center embellishment. In my sample I used liquid pearls. Have fun!
