Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Finally finished my card for the Mod Squad Challenge Blog challenge to include wood on your card hosted by Laurie.

I received the current Gina K Designs release on Saturday and fell in love with the birdcage.  Perfect for my daughter and son in law who are love birds.  I inked up the Cuttlebug Forest branch embossing folder with Versamark ink then added the bronze embossing folder.  I'm really liking how the background turned out.  So not really thinking that was enough wood I was on the hunt for embellishments and wanted hearts.  Well at my local big box craft store found way too much in wood but decided on the natural wood hearts and the striped button which carried on the theme of the birdcage, branches and ribbon.
Products used were GKD's Forever In My Heart stamp duo, Chocolate Brown, Creme DeMenthe and Pure White cardstock as well as the ribbon.  Also used Cuttlebug Forest Branches embossing folder, VersaMark, Bronze embossing folder, some baker's twine, popdots and my wood embellishments.  Have a wonderful day the Polar Vortex is heading back to Pennsylvania and the winds are beginning to really pick up.
