Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

So here is day 4 of my 30 Days of Love.  I've decided to try different techniques as I'm card making.  Today I watched a Youtube video of a lady who created a suspended image of a bat, and thought that was the cutest thing!  I wanted to try one of my own, and it was much simpler than I thought.  I took a piece of scrap left over from Christmas, but doesn't look entirely dedicated to the holiday.  I think it could do winter cards, and the pattern is very pretty.  I made just a wee card, and cut a square opening out of the middle wide enough to fit my lacy circle cut out.  I layered silver paper on top of the cut out, and stamped a snowflake in the middle with black pigment ink.  I threaded a silver string down the back of the lacy circle cut out.  I taped the square cut out to the inside of the card to give the snowflake a prettier backdrop, then I used washi tape to adhere the thread to the card.  I even had a little room for a message.

Thoughts:  Love. It. This was fast, simple, and I would do this again in a heart beat.  I think this will be the design for all of my Christmas present tags next year.

Message to Bill:  "It may be cold outside, but my heart is warmed by you."
