Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the first CSS Alumni Blog Hop of 2013!  You should have arrived from viewing Brenda's beautiful creations at http://stamp-it-up.blogspot.ca/2013/02/css-alumni-blog-hopcolor-cha...  . Today we have a color challenge courtesy of Geri Utterback! Thanks vey much, Geri!  We were to create a card or project using pink and red with a neutral color of white, black, or tan.  I made two cards:

Stamps are from Tami's set "Happy Hearts" (recently retired).  

Stamps are from Melanie's "Stately Flowers 4".  Card stock is GKD PL "Black Onyx" and "Passionate Pink".  I was inspired by a card Becky Oehlers created during one of the new release blog hops a few weeks ago.  She used white detail embossing powder to emboss the image on black card stock; then colored the white embossing.  I did the same here using the beautiful hibiscus images from Melanie's gorgeous set.  I used various pink and red Copics to outline the images.  Thank you, Becky, for the inspiration!
