Vintage Border Blog Hop 11/18/2009

I am so happy to once again showcase a card using Asela's Vintage Borders stamp set. The versatility of this set is amazing.

I stamped the ornaments 3 times with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail EP. I then did the same with the scalloped border, cutting it out and placing at the top. I stamped "peace"… Continue

Asela's "First Christmas" Blog Hop 11-13-09

I am very excited to participate in the blog hop tonight to showcase Asela's First Christmas stamp set.

I stamped this lovely cardinal and colored with Copics. I added a branch for him to perch on, and sponged the BG. The trim on the side was CB'd, and the tag is a Nestie stamped with a sentiment from this set.… Continue

Melanie's Hip to be Square Blog Hop

I was so excited that Melanie has chosen me to be one of her guest designers this month. I have had so much fun playing with her new set, Hip to be Square. First up is a card for a new baby girl. I stamped her little face on the round stamped image and colored with Copics. I then made the flower by punching a piece of yellow CS (folded in half lengthwise with an oval punch, about 1/2 of the oval on the fold line. I inked up the edges and then made a pink flower, using the same method and a round… Continue

Theresa's Blog Hop for Autumn Beauty

I was thrilled to be asked to be a guest designer for Theresa Momber this month, and happy to work with her Autumn Beauty stamp set. If you haven't added this set to your craft room yet, I am sure you will, after you see all the beautiful cards everyone has made for this hop. My first card uses the large sunflower, stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. I mounted it a scalloped piece of pumpkin spice pure luxury CS. The green textured BG is from my giant drawer of paper.… Continue
