Decided to jump back into stamping and play along in a challenge with the Mod Squad Challenge Blog's challenge hosted by Donna to include a doily. I didn't go to Grandma's Attic but rather to my stash and found a paper doily and decided to begin making Thanksgiving cards. My card includes Theresa Momber's Heartfelt stamp set for Gina K Designs. Also used Gina K's Pure Luxury pure ivory and honey mustard cardstock as well as Gina's Autumn Landscape designer paper pack. A few misc.…Continue
Finished off a card for the Mod Squad Challenge Blog's Patriotic Thank You Challenge made with very little stamping. Punched out some circles and stars used Gina K's rocket red, in the navy and pure white cardstock, cuttlebug's star embossing folder and a sentiment from Quite a Catch. Simple but kind of cute, too. …Continue
Decided to play along with the Triple Time Stamping challenge hosted by Judy Woodland over at the Mod Squad Challenge Blog challenge. I really do enjoy this technique and have used it a few times. This time, however, I decided to do a scene and I may have gone a little overboard on my birds....a little Alfred Hitchcock. This one's going to my son in law for being a great dad to my two wonderful little grandchildren. …Continue
:Playing along with the Spring Color Challenge over at the Mod Squad Challenge Blog. I used Gina K's Pure Luxury cardstock in Turquoise Sea, Wild Lilac and Pure White as well as the designer paper from the Shabby Spring paper pack. I probably should whisper and not even post that my stamp is from Inky Antics. Yikes I feel guilty posting it here.Continue
This week's Mod Squad Blog Challenge was to use three bright spring colors and create your own background paper using stamps. I decided to use the large flower from Melanie Muenchinger's A Year of Flowers 2 stamp set and do an emboss resist technique for my patterned paper . The spring colors I chose were honey mustard for the plants and grass that have not gotten over the…Continue

Today's card is for the guest designer challenge to make any project other than a flat card. I've been very anxious to make this pop up box card since I saw the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. It really is the most adorable, fun card to make. The back panel is white and that's where the greeting and signature will go. This does fold flat.

I'm participating in the Mod Squad Challenge Blog "Thinking of Spring" challenge. One thing I can tell you is it's very hard to think of spring when temps are still below freezing in Pennsylvania. Good News...the winter snow storm went south so no more new snow for me today.
For my card I used Gina K Designs Whimsical Wishes stamp set illustrated by Theresa Momber and Gina's Pure Luxury Passionate Pink and Pure…Continue
I'm still in Olympic mode so decided to use stars in gold, silver and bronze (well actually copper but close enough) to emboss, then I added Beth Silaika's new stamp set for Gina K Desgns "Lots of Washi" and embossed the rings which reminded me of the Olympic rings in all three colors going for an ombre effect. My stars came from GinaK's Picture It and Lazy Days of Summer and the congrats is from Theresa Momber's Up & Away for GKD. I layered GKD's Pure…Continue
18" of snow on the Thursday/Friday snow storm, Saturday another 5", snow piles so high and restricted lanes it's hard to even "Think Spring" but in 31 days 20 hours and 45 minutes and counting it will be SPRING!! So personally I'm ready to hit the lottery and move everyone to Hawaii but until that happens, I'll think Spring by making cards with flowers. For my entry I used Gina K's Stately Flowers 7 illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. …Continue

This week's Mod Squad Challenge Blog is a valentine challenge to include hearts and glitter. Hearts are easy but glitter and I have a love/hate relationship. So since I just cleaned up my stamp room due to a sleepover with my two darling grandchildren I opted to use the Sakura Clear Star jelly roll pen for my added feature. After all the stamp area must stay semi-clean for more than two days...doesn't it??
Today's card will be entered into the Mod Squad Challenge Blog to CASE a favorite designer. I chose Vicki Dutcher who's one of my favorites. The card I chose from Vicki's marvelous collection was her last card for the Stamp TV Center Stage Spotlight Hop seen here.
My card uses different glitters and know I remember why I don't really use glitter..lol..and mine card is for my Son-In-Law's…Continue
Finally finished my card for the Mod Squad Challenge Blog challenge to include wood on your card hosted by Laurie.
I received the current Gina K Designs release on Saturday and fell in love with the birdcage. Perfect for my daughter and son in law who are love birds. I inked up the Cuttlebug Forest branch embossing folder with Versamark ink then added the bronze embossing folder. I'm really liking how the…Continue
We all know that Lee loves pink and snow. I'll take pink over snow anyday. It's been a cold winter so far in Pennsylvania and we are heading into another polar vortex. My favorite type of snow is one on cards or if it must snow on the weekends and lastly on the grass and trees only. That's where it is so very beautiful. Here's my card using:
Gina K Designs You Melt My Heart stamp set.
GKD Blizzard designer paper, Christmas Pine, Pure White and Red Hot cardstock.
Oh my five of my closest dearest friends and myself will be 60. We have been friends for 45 years and some of much longer than that. They are recipients of cards and projects for every holiday imaginable and are all very supportive. I'm the first this year and the last is in November. It promises to be a very interesting year. Here are my first 2 birthday tags.…Continue
