Merry Christmas!

A morning of kids, unwrapping days of wrapping, and celebration. All is well, and blessings to you all. This site has been such a blessing to me. The kindness, laughter, and support that I have experienced here has been wondeful and inspiring. Blessings to all this Holiday season.

I cleared my decks to craft this weekend, and my dear grandmother fell and broke her hip. Drove 7 hours to sit with her in the hospital this weekend. She is doing amazingly well, and clearly God knew I would need a clear weekend!

See my craft table next weekend, but grateful to have my grandmother with me :)

It's finally fall!

I went to the mountains last weekend to watch the changing of the leaves. It was beautiful and inspirational. I did read the latest postings from the hotel room, and have been itching to make some cards. It is cooler now, so I can open the windows and enjoy the fresh air!

It has been nice to see what others have been doing, and it has kept some spark flowing. Maybe I'll get back in the a little more on Sunday. The trouble with time is that it always seems to get used… Continue

Two more days of freedom

I go back to work in 2 days. I have had a goal of two cards a night since I began my re-dedication to the craft. I know that that will have to drop to 2 cards a week or so, but I have been satisfied with my efforts so far.

I think I need to send myself an encouragement card so that I will look forward to the all day meeting that defines my Monday, LOL.

Peace out!

Part-time crafter, full time dreamer

Like most everyone else here, I have a full time stressful job. I have a husband and two lovely daughters, who add immeasurably to my life (and sometimes stress!).  I have always taken the time to watch a beautiful sunset, listen to books while I drive so that I can enjoy my commute, but I still never find time to get into my craft room. I don't get enough time to follow my inner designer, but have vowed to increase its importance in my life.

When I am feeling uninspired, I make most…
