After I completed my other card, another memory just kept coming to mind. I decided to make a card using that memory as my inspiration. For many years, Fall just wasn't Fall unless we took my son and daughter to the Apple Orchard. It always seemed to be a sunny, crisp day with hours to spare. They loved eating all they could, as we filled our bushel baskets. Trying to keep them off the ladders in the orchard was an exercise in futility.
We bought lots and lots of apples. I used to bake a… Continue

Here is my card for the Lean on Me blog hop. Using a base of chocolate PL card stock, I made the dp using a piece of Asparagus cs and randomly bleached using a piece of bleach soaked paper toweling. I then sponged with Distress inks, after the bleach dried. After cutting out my ovals with my Cuttlebug, I stamped my Lean on Me Flower on the bleach paper towel, and then onto the cranberry tart cs. I added a brown ribbon and bow, with a little copper bling in the middle.… Continue

It's time for another blog hop by the Center Stage Alumni Team. This time around it is a sketch challenge, using a sketch by our own Cheri Weston.
This is the sketch:
Here is my take on this sketch, using Asela's Zoo Animals
stamp set. The background dp was a piece I found in my stash, which I die cut with a Nestabilities scalloped circle.… Continue

I chose an excellent animated movie for my inspiration. Nemo's father overcomes many fears and challenges while looking for his son. There are lessons that can be applied in all of our lives, with determination. We just have to try!
Here is my card, where I used the Quite a Catch stamp set. I used this sentiment to say "you're a star" just like Nemo.… Continue

Gina- your card and all the pictures were so sweet and I really enjoyed seeing the,m. Thanks for sharing them.
I was stumped with this challenge and then realized I was just over-thinking it. Once I slept on it, I actually created four cards, for this challenge.
