We haven't had summer yet. I am beginning to think it isn't coming this year. So even though the digi I used may depict planting in the spring, for me it shows weeding and plants that need transplanting into the garden. My dad worked for a railroad and every summer they would bring out the old passenger cars that had been refurbished and treat the employees and their families with an excursion trip. We would board in our hometown and then travel to the northern end of the line, spend a little time…Continue

Here is my summer memories card:
I was inspired by my memories of my great-aunt and uncle's fancy parlor. Every summer, my parents took my brother and I to visit them at their "summer" house on the Massachusetts coast. Being young children with lots…Continue
How about a fun card for summer? This is a digi by Laurie Wilson of Doodle Pantry. She has some cute bugs and worms !! I used the colors for the challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs - blue, yellow, green.
For challenges this week, I will be making some cards with the masculine theme because Father's Day is this Sunday. This is the first time I will not be making one for my dad and I miss that. I really miss him. He was the best. Sketch is for http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ , masculine theme for… Continue

It seems that I am using a lot of buttons lately and quite a bit of ribbon - which is a good thing because I tend to be a hoarder.
We are having a very rainy, cold Spring but I do love Spring - the flowers, the babies. Living out in the country I drive by farms with lambs, calves, colts, kids, chicks, ducklings. This digi by Laurie Wilson of Doodle Pantry is so cute. I am submitting this card for several challenges: Our Daily Bread, Stampin Sister in Christ, If the Shoe…
