Today I'm working on ATC's. I'm also still trying to figure out what to do for my Inchie Swap I'm in. Today is a slow work day for me. I hope to join more challenges as the weeks go by. Well talk later.

Well, I broke down this weekend and invested in some Copic Markers. I don't regret it at all. I love these markers. Here are two cards I did this morning using my Copic Markers for the first time. The stamps are from Joyce Meyer's JAM'N Stamps line that my company, Texana Designs, now carries. We are slowly bringing all her designs back to life. The "Paintbrush" is in stock. The "Iris" will be available later in the year.

Yup, the current craft room situation is absolutely NOT working out. So convinced hubby that HE should move HIS craft room into my current craft room (converted back porch which is combination craft/office area). If I get my tax stuff all organized this weekend, I'm going to start moving stuff. Yippee, can't wait!

WEATHER REPORT ~BJ Gallagher
"Any day I'm vertical
is a good day"
...that's what I always say.
If you ask me,
"How are you?"
I'll answer, "GREAT!"
because in saying so,
I make it so.
When Life gives me dark clouds and rain,
I appreciate the moisture
that brings a soft curl to my hair.
When Life gives me sunshine,
I gratefully turn my face up
to feel its warmth on my cheeks.
When Life… Continue

Inspire Personal Accountability:
Excerpt from Change is Good...You Go First
By Mac Anderson and Tom Feltenstein
Something magical happens when we accept personal responsibility for our behavior and our results. But, it's not easy, because it's human nature to "pass the buck". I (Mac) know there have been times in my life when my business was struggling where I found myself blaming others, blaming the economy, blaming this, blaming that! But as I've gotten older (and a… Continue

Just a quick ditty, to say hello to anyone who reads this. Hope your day is blessed. I've been working on blogs today trying to get the gist of all this computer lingo. I'm probably signing my life away and don't know. You know just click her and save there and before you know it - you don't know where you are. Anyone else feel like that on these blogs. I am learning though. On my way out to work, later.

The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday morning. Perhaps it’s the quiet solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it’s the unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours of a Saturday morning are most enjoyable.
A few weeks ago, I was shuffling toward the garage with a steaming cup of coffee in one hand and the morning paper in the other. What began as a typical Saturday morning turned into one of those lessons that life seems to hand… Continue

Thanks Carolyn for sending this poem to me!
Reasons for being a card maker:
1) It helps keep the economy going. It is one's duty to support cardcraft manufacturers, timber/paper mills, craft shops and internet sites.
2) It is less expensive and more fun that psychiatric care.
3) It's participation in a contest- The one who dies with the most unused peel offs, toppers etc, wins.
4) Craft bits keep without refrigeration, you don't have to… Continue

My pictures are scanned so they aren't as clear as those done with a camera. I am still learning how to use my camera. I have only had it for six years now.
I love the splitcoast site. Iam a member but have never posted any pictures. I thought this place would be a good start for confindence.

That's pretty much what I have been up to. Of course assembling yet MORE Stamping Supplies , this time on Ebay. I saw a Tutorial in which a Drill hand punch was used to pop tiny holes in CS to accomodate Brads, Ribbons etc and HAD to have one ! The Hand Drill Punch shown was by a Japanese Co., called "Yasutomo", you might be familiar with their inks and oragami papers. Well they wanted $49 for the punch, a bit our of my budget you see, since I am on Social Security. Soooo, enter Ebay, and a… Continue

I used the "super giant begonia petals" punch from the Punch Bunch.-When punching coffee filters you need to punch at least 2 or 3 layers thick (just 1 coffee filter wont punch, it just tears) Then painted with twinkling H20's.
After they are dry start attatching them to the snowflake punch. I punch snowflakes out of Cardstock. Start with the largest petals, then do the next to largest on another snowflake-but trim the tips off the snowflake to make it a tad smaller.…
