What a busy year already... Happy new year to all you lovely ladies who, like me, are addicted to crafting/stamping and just feeling creative.
my little family is growing, we have GGD number two, Ivy Jayne, the most delightful little imp, already loving to draw
and play with her crayons..
who can believe how quickly the years are flying by, I wonder how I found time to go to work!
happy crafting to one and all.

I'm still in Olympic mode so decided to use stars in gold, silver and bronze (well actually copper but close enough) to emboss, then I added Beth Silaika's new stamp set for Gina K Desgns "Lots of Washi" and embossed the rings which reminded me of the Olympic rings in all three colors going for an ombre effect. My stars came from GinaK's Picture It and Lazy Days of Summer and the congrats is from Theresa Momber's Up & Away for GKD. I layered GKD's Pure…Continue
18" of snow on the Thursday/Friday snow storm, Saturday another 5", snow piles so high and restricted lanes it's hard to even "Think Spring" but in 31 days 20 hours and 45 minutes and counting it will be SPRING!! This week's Mod Squad Challenge Blog is a valentine challenge to include hearts and glitter. Hearts are easy but glitter and I have a love/hate relationship. So since I just cleaned up my stamp room due to a sleepover with my two darling grandchildren I opted to use the Sakura Clear Star jelly roll pen for my added feature. After all the stamp area must stay semi-clean for more than two days...doesn't it??
I created this card for two challenges Lee's Mod Squad Challenge was to use a least one heart and some glitter. The white heart is from a glitter stack. I used a Martha Stewart punch and the greeting is from Theresa Momber's Elegant Florals and the dp is from Graphic 45. You can see all the fabulous entries for this challenge at http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com/ . I am also going to enter it in the Flourishes challenge to use Love…Continue
This is a card for Shawn's Mod Squad challenge "Are You on the CASE". http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com/ The challenge asked you to select a designer and CASE a card. I cased a card of Melanie Muenchinger's because I liked the elegance of the CAS design. I was not happy with the coloring on my flowers, but this was…Continue
Today's card will be entered into the Mod Squad Challenge Blog to CASE a favorite designer. I chose Vicki Dutcher who's one of my favorites. The card I chose from Vicki's marvelous collection was her last card for the Stamp TV Center Stage Spotlight Hop seen here.
