Thanks Linda. So glad you liked my two non-traditional Christmas cards. I did luck out...a man came to see hubby and since we usually do some of the tax work together I didn't have to work on it. So I decided to do cards instead.

Thank you for your comments Linda. I do think silver is a lovely colour for christmas, ( most of my house decorations are in silver and black)

Linda, thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on my cards.  I've been remiss in thanking people lately due to some time consuming family issues, but I wanted to let you know your comments are very much appreciated.

Congratulations, Linda, for your recognition on your beautiful OLBG CARD.  Every week I pick  6 cards that I think Gina might pick and yours is one I selected. The two papers you chose are beautiful and love how you embossed the focal image.

Glad you liked my one layer device...Swirl Tree card. LOL I guess you can't get much easier a faux layer than that. I know I plan to use that method.

Hi Linda, thanks so much for the compliment and the truck is awesome, in fact, the whole stamp set "The Journey" is terrific!  Be sure to go look at it when you shop at Gina K.

Hi Linda,

Thanks so much for your kind words.  Cutting out the flowers and stems was a huge job, but I was "not in a hurry" so enjoyed making the card.  I am very pleased with that card as I usually have a lot of trouble with imagination about what to do, and so it actually all came together quite nicely in the end.  I am relatively new to card making and am having an absolute ball. Its just such fun.
