Thanks Linda. So glad you liked my two non-traditional Christmas cards. I did luck out...a man came to see hubby and since we usually do some of the tax work together I didn't have to work on it. So I decided to do cards instead.

Glad you liked my one layer device...Swirl Tree card. LOL I guess you can't get much easier a faux layer than that. I know I plan to use that method.

Thanks so much for your kind words.  Cutting out the flowers and stems was a huge job, but I was "not in a hurry" so enjoyed making the card.  I am very pleased with that card as I usually have a lot of trouble with imagination about what to do, and so it actually all came together quite nicely in the end.  I am relatively new to card making and am having an absolute ball. Its just such fun.
