A big hello from Italy!

Hi everybody,

and happy 2011!! My name is Vittoria and I live close to Milan in the very north of Italy, so please have mercy if my English is far from perfect as it's not my mother tongue. I've been visiting this gorgeous website for over a year now and I decided it was high time for me to join the community!! I'm an active crafter and rubber stamping is one of my favourite hobbies, I only wish I had more time to dedicate to it. Unfortunately I haven't been doing much lately as I'm…

Hi Vittoria. Thanks for your kind comments, and yes, this was my first time sewing on a card. I quilt a little, but have never sewn on a card! Just doesn't seem right, somehow :) I'll have to remember NOT to use this dull needle on fabric, in future!

Thanks for accepting me as a friend ;) the photo of your cat is gorgeous! I had heard of the British Blue, but not the other. The fur is really thick, right!

Hi again :). My Ragdoll's name is Tikvah, but we usually shorten it to Tika (pronounced Tee-kah). I'm not Jewish, but Tikvah is Hebrew for "hope", as in "something longed for". I've always wanted a purebred cat, and now I have two! I also have an Abyssinian named Keziah (Kezzi for short). Keziah is Hebrew for "cinnamon". One of my cards has a photo of Kezzi yawning, if you want to see what she looks like--you won't see her gorgeous green eyes in the photo, though. I'm going to have to look up the types of cats you mentioned!
