Thanks for commenting on my poinsettia card. To answer you question, I took the guard off the punch (you can use most corner punches for this and be careful because the guard can break!) and then used it to punch the design around the circle. I had to experiment with different sized circles before it looked even all the way around. If it doesn't come out even, just plop a flower on it and call it a day..LOL!! I hope this helps.
