SandraMaria commented on Jan MacKinven's group Brother Scan 'n Cut machine
"That is a really good deal if you are serious about buying. I love my SNC2. Cutting out my Lawn Fawn images for Christmas cards took...literally like 5 minutes. I had 2 pages of mice and cheese to cut out. Good luck selling your SNC, Faith! MERRY…"

"If you could find a svg file that does the cut and stitch, you could size it any size you want. =)"

SandraMaria replied to Jayne Linfante's discussion 2 cutting mat questions in the group Brother Scan 'n Cut machine
"Just try rescanning them. Sometimes they show up with a second scan. Also, you can use any kind of tape you want. They just want you to buy another mat. I would have called her on it, too!! LOLOL!!!"

SandraMaria commented on Jan MacKinven's group Brother Scan 'n Cut machine
"LOL I didn't even think of that!!! :b I kinda sorta wish that Brother would make a smaller mat to use. It's seems so funny to scan that entire mat when sometimes I just wanna cut out a couple things in one go. =)"

Stencil Embossing

"WOW!! SO KEWL!!! You could work on either side of the embossed cardstock with the stencil. All you would have to do is flip the stencil over. Thanks Gina, and happy, happy birthday!!!"

SandraMaria commented on Jan MacKinven's group Brother Scan 'n Cut machine
"Jane, my mat was a little too sticky when I first got it. What I did was I brushed it lightly with my EK brush tool...you know the powder we use for dusting before we emboss? It helped a lot and was still tacky enough to hold my cardstock but…"

Double Embossing

"Great technique!! I actually like that pen better than the Wink of Stella. It takes a couple minutes to color something in solid, but it's well worth it when you compare to how the Wink of Stella shimmers. Thanks for sharing, Gina! Have a great…"

SandraMaria replied to Jayne Linfante's discussion 2 cutting mat questions in the group Brother Scan 'n Cut machine
"I have not tried this myself but I 'heard' on a Youtube video that you can also use the spray on tacky adhesive. My mat was actually too sticky and I used my EK powder tool so it would allow me to pull up my cuts without tearing them. Good…"

"Jayne, try lightly penciling in a border around your image and then carefully erase it. I had to do that with one of my little Lawn Fawn hedgehogs. =)"

SandraMaria replied to Debrah Warner's discussion Electronic Cutting Systems -- Which one?
"I also own a Brother ScanNCut and I L.O.V.E. it. Something not mentioned about it is that you can scan your punched images and die cuts and then resize and cut them out. It's a fantastic, simple machine. If I had to do it again...I would. :b LOL"

"This brings back some memories! I was in eighth grade when I had some of these hanging on my shoes! We decorated them with seed beads and everyone had their own selection of colors and patterns.  LOL Thanks so much, this is such a cute idea and…"
